my forefathers are a waterfall and
my other fathers are the rains. they give
water to dinosaurs and
ostriches, illegal migrants
lapping at the stream with their mouthes
on the surface of the
pools. what we do in this life echoes
into caverns, vast caverns
governed by kings in the dark, evolved without
eyes or hands.
