twelve men, swinging

oars until they reach the

giant islands, where men

with legs of trees roam, taking

step like elephants.  the sailors

don’t know where to look.  they’ve traveled

to far to be amazed, but the giants

haven’t come out that

day and so the three by four men

go for a swim, dipping their

arms into the sea and kicking,

making games with dolphins

in the secret lagoons away

from the service.
