She takes off her gloves slowly
and undoes her bonnet fast
as she stoops down lowly
and then walks out of the past
and onto the sidewalk at the sea
just above the cliffs, near the mast
above the capitalist tree.
She asks a jogger where he goes
and he says, ‘do you mean me?’
she ask him where he flows
and he spills out slowly,
she steps into the shade where no one knows.
