at the very top of a citadel

the elder man says not a word

and peering into a silent well

the younger soul dissects accord

a rising sun falls upside down

towards the sky, a burning bird.

The old man races to the ground

He chases rabbits for his soul.

Then seeing a woman with a gown

he asks her if she is his goal

she sheds her robe and steps to hell

the sun gets sucked into the hole.
