The sea salt is drying into

her hair and she says

that she sees a lion somewhere

on the beach, but no one believes

her and they say that

lions don’t come this far

usually.  She starts to cry

and say that she knows what

she saw.  Her father tells her

to get her things in a hurry, that

the train they need to take will be

leaving faster than they realised.

She runs and runs and pretends that

the time is a feline, but it is,

it really is.
